I got 2 to watch this an
INTERNATIONAL movie
"THE BEST OFFER"
an Italian film

Oldman in his secret collection of portraits
Caught by her beauty

What is this movie all about? Curious why they called it, The Best Offer movie?

Well, my man and I went to grab our movie yesterday and what a shocking which there was no subtitles for this show. Wondering why? Because it is an International movie...? Oh no, please do not ever leave it without any subtitles. Subtitles should be provided for any movies especially we, Deaf people need to read what the movie is all about. Too bad...

So I somewhat with no choice, just to follow the movie going on its own flow... And thanked to this movie is not boring me much and excited me with its full of good drama, mystery, romance and crime!

{I picked a good storyline about this movie part}

The film tells a story of love and deceit, set in Europe in the world of high-end art auctions and antiques. The story revolves around Virgil Oldman (Geoffrey Rush) Aussie actor, an elderly and esteemed, but somewhat eccentric, managing director of an auction house. Oldman is hired by a reclusive young heiress, Claire Ibbetson (Sylvia Hoeks) a Dutch actress, to auction off the large collection of art and antiques left to her by her parents. For some reason, Claire always refuses to be seen in person. An astute young artificer, Robert (Jim Sturgess) an English actor then aids Oldman in restoring and reassembling some odd mechanical parts he finds amongst Claire's belongings, while also giving him some advice on how to befriend her, and how to deal with his feelings towards her. Oldman's poise and prestige is counterpointed by an ongoing scam whereby his friend Billy Whistler (Donald Sitherland) a Canadian actor helps him to acquire a secret private collection of master paintings. Oldman eventually begins a relationship with Ibbetson, compromising his work. At the peak of the relationship, Claire overcomes her fear of the outside world and goes on to live with Virgil, who trusts the fragile Claire enough to show her his priceless collection of portraits. Virgil returns home one day to find his entire collection and Claire gone, realising that he was all part of Whistler's elaborate scam. After months of recovering from the ultimate betrayal, Virgil takes a trip to Prague, and sits in a restaurant that Claire had once suggested, waiting alone.

In the end part, the movie all seem quiet and plain taking us to visit the beautiful Prague and enjoy the life. But it does not end like in this way, Oldman is end up to spend his old day alone!
What interested me the most is AUCTIONS which seriously to take some works on being too FOCUS too much? And in mind being too SHARP? Doing auctions still practice in the world now...
NEVER look in the lie of beauty but in heart and mind and soul!
